It’s finally starting to act like Fall out there, and the fish are getting feisty! We’ve had some recent trips with 5 to 15 nice Rockfish hooked up simultaneously. Let’s book up November and December. Our last open October dates are: 20, 21, 25, 26, 28.
The weather is perfect and the fishing is heating up nicely. The Rockfish bite should only get bet better as we transition into the Fall pattern. We catch Rockfish (a.k.a. striped bass) consistently all the way until the season ends on: December 10th. Don’t sweat the weather—it doesn’t even get really cold anymore, and the boat is enclosed and heated. There are even a few Red Drum still around, but they won’t stay long. We are now booking October trips. The MD Season runs until December 10th and the best fishing has yet to come! We are back in Tracy’s Landing (Deale). We run 7 days a week. Forget the weekends!!! If you want the best chance of smashing fish, book a weekday!! Massive, ignorant crowds spook fish and ruin the bite on weekends.

Despite all of the ridiculous fear-mongering, there is NO hurricane anywhere near us and both the weather and the fishing on the Chesapeake Bay are just fine! We are still catching Rockfish limits on every trip. There are a few Bluefish around and some days, the White Perch fishing is very good.
