Fishing Report: 5/21/2013
/in Chesapeake Bay Fishing Report/by Captain ScottThe 2013 Trophy Rockfish Season is in the books. It was a great one and now the limit is 2-Rock per person per day, 18-inches +. Due to cool weather and water temps, there are still big, migratory Rockfish around. We are catching overs and unders right now and 40-80 pound Black Drum are around too! Last Hurrah Charter Fishing LLC has open dates this week and next. Contact via email or phone to book. (Please do not leave comments on this post as I do not check them frequently).
Thanks, Capt. Scott
Trophy Rockfishing Report: 4/20/13-5/8/13
/in Chesapeake Bay Fishing Report/by Captain ScottHowdy all,
The 2013 Spring Trophy Rockfishing season has been a great one so far! Opening day was a quick limit, followed by 3 or 4 slow days and then full limits on 11 of the last 12 trips! Some days have been fast and furious and others have been a slower pick, but as long as we box ’em, it’s all good. The cool weather and low water temps should hopefully keep these big, migratory Rock around longer than usual. We still have a few days in mid and late May open for charter. Remember, after 5/15, the limit increases to 2 fish per person per day.
Here are some pics from the last few weeks:
