Trophy Rockfishing on the Chesapeake

Opening Day (April 20th) is almost here and Last Hurrah Charters is booking dates for the 2019 Maryland Trophy Rockfish Season.   (After May 15th. you can catch and keep the resident rockfish and the limit goes from 1 per man to 2.)

We can take a max of 6 passengers.  Less is fine; pricing is flat for the boat.

Only A Month Until Fishing Season !

The MD Striped Bass Season is about a month away and charter dates are going quickly.   Now is the time to book your trip and secure your fishing adventure on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.  We still have some prime dates in April and May.  We strongly recommend booking a weekday if at all possible due to crowds.  We run 2 trips a day, 7 days a week and provide all licenses, rods, gear, lures, fish-cleaning etc.  Don’t be fooled by the temperature, Spring is right around the corner.

Opening Day (April 20th) is coming fast.  I am getting a lot of calls about availability so I will list available spring dates below.  If you’re serious about increasing your chances, book a weekday!   The world is overpopulated and the Chesapeake Bay is a prime example—There are insane crowds on the weekends which spook the fish and make turning /maneuvering with planer boards next to impossible.   We run two trips a day, EVERY day.   5:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. departures.   One group hires the boat for private charter.  We can take a max of 6.
