Fall Fishing on the Chesapeake Bay

The weather is cooling down and the ridiculous crowds are getting smaller. It’s time for the best fishing of the year….Fall on the Chesapeake Bay. Rockfish are schooling up and feeding hard as water temperatures drop. Last Hurrah Charters is looking forward to some stellar Fall fishing. The season runs until December 10th. The boat is enclosed, heated, and dog-friendly. Let’s Go Catching!

Rock-N-Blues !

Fishing is hot right now with the last several charters yielding double-limits of both Rockfish and Bluefish! The blues won’t be around much longer, so don’t wait in booking your Chesapeake Bay fishing charter aboard The Last Hurrah! Weekdays are the the way to go as weekends are a circus with large crowds.
We have primes September and October dates open. Let’s go catching!

Prime Dates Available

Last Hurrah Charter Fishing LLC still has prime, open September and October dates. Forget weekends…The massive crowds of ignorant new boat-owners have ruined weekend fishing. Weekdays are the deal, and we still have some available. Book your Chesapeake Bay fishing trip now for multi-species opportunities. We’ll move back down to Deale by October.

Chesapeake Bay Bounty

Weekday fishing is consistently good with limits of Striped Bass every trip, and some Perch and Bluefish mixed in as a bonus. Weekends are littered with clueless, inconsiderate boat-owners making success infinitely more difficult. Now, is the time to get your Chesapeake Bay fishing trip on the books! We are still fishing out of our Magothy River location, but we will move back south to Deale, MD within a month.
Families and dogs are always welcome on the Last Hurrah!

Dog-Friendly Chesapeake Fishing Charters

Dog Days of Summer

The Maryland Striped Bass Season is back in and will remain so until December 10th. Some Bluefish are showing up as well, and Spanish Mackerel are on the way. Bottom-fishing for White Perch and Catfish has also been yielding good catches. Weekdays are the best bet since weekend crowds are insane. We offer morning and afternoon trips. We are still running out of our Pasadena marina located on the beautiful Magothy River. We can take a maximum of 6 customers, but less is fine.

Summer is almost over and Last Hurrah Charters still has some prime dates up for August and September. Our official spokespup, “Shelby”, wants to remind everyone that dogs are always welcome on the Hurrah!! We keep a water bowl and treats at the ready. Shelby doesn’t usually come on charter trips so don’t worry if your dog doesn’t play well with others.

Let’s go catching!
