Weekly Report: 11/21-11/27

There are some monster, migratory striped bass out there but they are not thick by any means.  The smaller, resident stripers have been holding tight to the bottom and have been tricky to catch.   We have been trolling the big-rig with 28 rods and have been catching a mix of migratory and resident fish…but we have had to work hard and be patient.

Weekly Report: 11/7-11/13

The big, migratory rockfish haven’t shown up yet, but there are quality resident rockfish around.  The bite has been hit or miss and the fish are not always cooperative.  Here’s a pic from Saturday.  It was a very tough bite but we grinded it out and eventually caught our limit of rockfish up to 26 inches.
