Best Time of the Year!

The Fall fishing pattern is unfolding, and from now until December 10th will likely be the best fishing of the year.  We are already enjoying some exciting all-rods-down simultaneously action and limits of fat “football” fish.

We have October 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 and most of November open for charter.  We can take groups up to 6 and dogs are always welcome.  Let’s go catching!

 

 

 

7 Days a Week

We have open dates, and I’m not talking about Saturdays.  There are seven days in a week and Saturdays are the toughest out there due to massive, inconsiderate crowds.  Let’s get some of these prime, weekdays booked up!  Mornings run 5:30-11:30 and afternoons: 12:00-6:00 p.m.  We can take groups up to 6 for private charter.  Dogs are welcome.

 

 

Summer’s Last Hurrah

Summer is almost over.  Time for one, last hurrah aboard The Last Hurrah.  We have some open dates.  Let’s go catching!

AUGUST:  21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31.

SEPTEMBER:  3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

 

You Won’t Wanna’ Miss It!

The last five weeks has provided some of the best summer striper fishing that I have ever witnessed.  The fishing couldn’t be any better…. but the bookings have room for improvement.  The last two weeks of July is closed for Striped Bass fishing.  We’re now filling the last, few July dates as well as building August.  Time for one “last hurrah” before summer is in the rearview. Let’s make it count!

 

 

 

The Bite is Right, Tight, & Outta’ Sight!

Rarely have I seen a light-tackle, live-lining bite as good as what we’ve enjoyed the last few days.  It’s not going to last forever, so strike while the bite is HOT!!!

Weekends are a circus out there, but with more clowns.  Play hooky, and go hook up on some fish during the week.  We have the following open morning trips in June:

6, 8, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30.

We can take up to 6 customers and dogs are welcome on board!

Stop Wishin’ and Go Fishin’!

The 2023 Maryland Striped Bass Season has been underway for almost a month now, but this economy is keeping holes in our schedule.  We still have prime, June trips available.  We’re hailing from Atlantic Marina on the Magothy in Pasadena, MD which is less than 30 minutes from Annapolis and Baltimore.  We can take groups up to a max of six people, and customers are welcome to bring their dogs along on the fishing charter!  All licenses, rods, tackle, gear, fish-ice while we’re out, and rockfish-cleaning are all included!
So grab some friends, family members, employees, colleagues, neighbors, kids, dogs, or whoever and book your fishing trip on The Last Hurrah!  We run 7-days a week (weekdays are the best fishing as weekend crowds are bad).

All Tricked Out and Ready to Roll

The Last Hurrah is back in the water and ready to rock!
Last year, She got a brand new Cummins 370 diesel motor, spray rails, and a new deck. This year, we’ve installed a new ZF transmission, a new trolling valve, a new propeller, and a new electric toilet. 35 Okuma SLX trolling reels have all been cleaned, greased and re-spooled with fresh line. We are back on the Magothy River at Atlantic Marina in Pasadena, MD. This is a quality facility that puts us closer to the fish. The marina is less than 30 minutes from Annapolis and Baltimore, and about one hour from Washington D.C.

Nail Down Your Date

The Maryland Striped Bass Season starts: May 1st and our dates are going fast. The first fifteen days are “Trophy Striped Bass Season”. These migrators are massive, but tougher to come by. Starting May 16th, we can catch the resident Stripers which school up in large numbers. We will be running 2 trips a day, 7 days a week out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy in Pasadena, MD. We can take up to 6 humans and all the dogs you wanna’ bring!

Prime Dates Available

Last Hurrah Charter Fishing LLC still has prime, open September and October dates. Forget weekends…The massive crowds of ignorant new boat-owners have ruined weekend fishing.
