Open September Dates

The weather is cooling down but fishing is heating up.  It’s time to book your dog-friendly Chesapeake Bay fishing trip aboard The Last Hurrah.  We run 7-days a week out of Pasadena, MD just 30 minutes from Annapolis and Baltimore.   Morning and afternoon departures are available.  Weekdays are strongly recommended since weekends are  tougher due to crowds.
We can take up to 6 customers.  Let’s go catching!

OPEN SEPTEMBER DATES:

4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28.  (All trips require a deposit.  Open dates subject to change.)

Stop Wishin’ and Go Fishin’!

The 2023 Maryland Striped Bass Season has been underway for almost a month now, but this economy is keeping holes in our schedule.  We still have prime, June trips available.  We’re hailing from Atlantic Marina on the Magothy in Pasadena, MD which is less than 30 minutes from Annapolis and Baltimore.  We can take groups up to a max of six people, and customers are welcome to bring their dogs along on the fishing charter!  All licenses, rods, tackle, gear, fish-ice while we’re out, and rockfish-cleaning are all included!
So grab some friends, family members, employees, colleagues, neighbors, kids, dogs, or whoever and book your fishing trip on The Last Hurrah!  We run 7-days a week (weekdays are the best fishing as weekend crowds are bad).

It’s almost time! Season starts May 1st.  The first 15 days is Trophy Rockfish Season and not for the impatient.  Starting the 16th, we can target and keep the resident Rockfish.  The boat is running great and ready to roll.

We have open afternoons as well, but here are the open May Mornings:  2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 18, 21, 23, 27, 29, 30, 31.

Get Your Date Before They’re Gone

Season is almost here and we have a few May dates still available. We will be running two trips a day, 7-days a week out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy River, conveniently located within 30 minutes of Annapolis and Balitmore. Monday through Thursday is always the best fishing due weekend crowds. We can take groups up to six and dogs are always welcome! Come experience Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay on The Last Hurrah!

7 Days a Week

Just another reminder that the Maryland Striped Bass (Rockfish) Season starts May 1st.
We are a full-time charter operation offering trips 7-days a week! The weekends are the hands down the toughest days to fish due to massive crowds. Weekdays are where it’s at and we still have prime ones available.
We will be hailing from Atlantic Marina on the Magothy. We can take up to 6 humans and all the dogs you wanna’bring!

Booking Spring Trips Now!

The proposed 2023 MD Fishing Season is the same as last year:
May 1 – May 15: Trophy, migrating striper season. (1 fish per customer, 35″+.)
May 16 – December 10 with a break in July. ( 2 per charter customer, 19″+).

If you want a chance at that monster, fish of a lifetime, Trophy Season is your best bet. If you prefer more consistent action, book the regular season.

We will be back at: Atlantic Marina on the Magothy at least until the Fall. 487 New York Avenue Pasadena, MD 21122.

We can take up to 6. Dogs are always welcome! Book your 2023 Chesapeake fishing trip today!

August Fishing Dates

The Maryland Striped Bass Season re-opens on Monday, August 1st and runs until December 10th. There are plenty of Perch, Spot and Catfish around also. Bluefish are starting to make their way north. Spanish Mackerel have also made an appearance down the Bay, although they aren’t quite close enough for us yet.

Last Hurrah Charter Fishing still has some prime-time August dates available. We run 5:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:00–6:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Mon.-Thurs. is by far the best bet as weekend crowds have been enormous and even more disrespectful and discourteous than usual.
We can take a max of 6 customers. Families and dogs are welcomed and encouraged to come. Email us today to get your trip on the books before summer is over!

The Last Hurrah

August Fishing Dates

There’s a 2-week Striped Bass Season Closure, but it’s back to business starting: August 1st. Last Hurrah Charters has prime dates open for August Striper fishing. Monday through Thursday is the way to go since weekend crowds are at their all-time worst and they have zero respect or common courtesy for anyone.
We can take a max of six customers; less is fine. Dogs are always welcome on board!
