Nail Down Your Date

The Maryland Striped Bass Season starts: May 1st and our dates are going fast. The first fifteen days are “Trophy Striped Bass Season”. These migrators are massive, but tougher to come by. Starting May 16th, we can catch the resident Stripers which school up in large numbers. We will be running 2 trips a day, 7 days a week out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy in Pasadena, MD. We can take up to 6 humans and all the dogs you wanna’ bring!

May 1st Season Opener

May 1 through May 15th will be the 2023 Maryland Trophy Striped Bass Season. This is the best shot at a migrating, monster rockfish in the 30-50 pound class. It’s not for everyone though. We troll 24 to 30 rods at at a time to increase the odds, but some days, the action can be slow or even non-existent. For those with less patience, May 16th through December 10th is a safer bet. We’ll be fishing out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy again this year. This is an excellent facilty with ample parking and a close proximity to the fish.
We can take a max of 6 human customers and dogs are always welcome on The Last Hurrah.

Last Hurrah for August

Summer is almost over and Last Hurrah Charter Fishing has prime, open weekdays. We are still running out of our northern marina on the Magothy River. We have been catching limits of Rockfish every trip with some catfish and eating-size white perch as a bonus. We will move the boat south to our Deale marina and start targeting mackerel and bluefish soon.
Come out and enjoy some summertime fishing on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
