Remaining Available May Dates…

The Season is just days away and the Last Hurrah has never looked or ran better!  We have spent the last few months inside a shop working tirelessly, making major upgrades including a brand new Cummins 370 HP diesel motor.
Here is what we have left for May:
Open May mornings:  17, 30, 31
Open May afternoons:   3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28,29, 30
We will be fishing out of Herrington Harbour North (421 Deale Road, Tracy’s Landing, MD) during May, & out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy (487 New York Ave., Pasadena) for the summer.   All trips are approx. 6-hours.  Weekdays–$700 flat for boat;  Sat./Sun.–$750.  Mate works for tips.  We can take up to 6.

The Maryland Striped Bass Season kicks off in just 27 days!
Last Hurrah Charters still has prime May & June trips available.
We run two Chesapeake Bay fishing charters a day, 7-days a week.  Mornings depart:  5:30  Afternoons: 12:00.
We can take up to 6 customers.  (Dogs are welcome too). We will be fishing out of Herrington Harbour North (421 Deale Road, Tracy’s Landing, MD) for the month of May, and then out of Atlantic Marina on the Magothy (487 New York Ave., Pasadena) for the summer. When the fish move, we move with them!

Out of 62 possible trips for the month of May, 50 are now booked with deposits.  Below is what we currently have still available.
May 11th, 12th, & 24th are our only morning trips.
 
Open May Afternoons are:  3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 25th, 26th and 31th.

Contact us asap to lock up one of these last open Spring trips!  We can take a max of 6.  Mornings depart 5:30, afternoons at 12:30/1:00.

Last Open May Dates

The Season Starts:  May 1st.   “Trophy Season” runs until May 15th and then the Rockfish limit doubles and the min. size becomes 19″.
We run two trips a day, seven days a week.  Mornings depart no later than 5:30, afternoons between noon and 1:00.  Weekends are the worst days to go—boat traffic and fishing pressure are ridiculous!  Monday through Thursday is best.  We will be running out of Deale during May and out of Annapolis June through August.

Season starts May 1st.   First two weeks is “Trophy Rockfish Season” and the best chance for a migratory jumbo.  From May 16th on, the resident Rockfish are in play and the actions increases.  We have a few weekdays open in May and plenty of June availability.  We fish two trips a day, seven days a week.  We strongly recommend booking a weekday as enormous weekend crowds spook fish.  We can take a max of 6 customers.  All licenses, rods, gear, tackle and fish-fileting are included.

The Season starts May 1st and dates are filling up quickly.  May 1 through May 15 is “Trophy Season”—1 striped bass per customer 35 inches and larger.  May 16th onward, 2 stripers per customer , 19 inches and larger.  We plan to move the boat to Annapolis for Jun, July, and August.  Book your Chesapeake Bay charter fishing trip aboard The Last Hurrah today!!

2019 Maryland Striped Bass Season is Right Around the Corner

The 2019 Maryland Striped Bass (Rockfish) Season begins on Saturday, April 20th.  These first few weeks comprise our “Trophy Season” where the large, migratory Stripers are in the Chesapeake for their annual spawning ritual.  This is BIG FISH time where the Rockfish average 15 to 45 pounds!  Each customer is allowed one fish that measures 35 inches or greater.  We are excited to get back out on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay and chase these trophy fish.
We run 2 trips a day, 7 days a week.  Mornings depart early–5:15 / 5:30 a.m. and afternoons at 12:30.  Weekends get very crowded out there and boats spook fish, so we highly recommend booking a weekday if at all possible.  We  provide all licenses, rods, reels, lures, tackle, and fishing equipment.   It’s a short window for the jumbos and trips are booking up quickly so don’t procrastinate in securing your Spring date.
