7 Days a Week

We have open dates, and I’m not talking about Saturdays.  There are seven days in a week and Saturdays are the toughest out there due to massive, inconsiderate crowds.  Let’s get some of these prime, weekdays booked up!  Mornings run 5:30-11:30 and afternoons: 12:00-6:00 p.m.  We can take groups up to 6 for private charter.  Dogs are welcome.

 

 

Summer’s Last Hurrah

Summer is almost over.  Time for one, last hurrah aboard The Last Hurrah.  We have some open dates.  Let’s go catching!

AUGUST:  21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31.

SEPTEMBER:  3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

 

One Last Hurrah Before Summer is Over

The Maryland Striped Bass (Rockfish) Season comes back in:  Tuesday, August 1st. There’s still time for one last hurrah aboard The Last Hurrah before summer is in the rearview.

Open August Dates: 4, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31.

We can take up to 6 human customers and dogs are always welcome.  Fishing has been phenomenal so far this summer.  Don’t miss out on the fun!

 

You Won’t Wanna’ Miss It!

The last five weeks has provided some of the best summer striper fishing that I have ever witnessed.  The fishing couldn’t be any better…. but the bookings have room for improvement.  The last two weeks of July is closed for Striped Bass fishing.  We’re now filling the last, few July dates as well as building August.  Time for one “last hurrah” before summer is in the rearview. Let’s make it count!

 

 

 

Fishing is Hot!

The light-tackle, striper fishing has been red hot lately.  It’s not going to last forever, so book your trip now!  Remember, there are 7 days in a week—Saturdays are the worst to go fishing.  It’s a crowded, circus out there on the weekends, so Monday through Thursday is the best bet.

Open June Mornings: 14, 18. 20 , 24, 25, 27, 28, 29

Open June Afternoons:  13, 15, 22, 23, 27, 28, 30

Mornings run:  5:30–11:30

Afternoons:  12:00–6:00

Chesapeake Bay Bounty

Weekday fishing is consistently good with limits of Striped Bass every trip, and some Perch and Bluefish mixed in as a bonus. Weekends are littered with clueless,inconsiderate boat-owners making success infinitely more difficult. Now, is the time to get your Chesapeake Bay fishing trip on the books! We are still fishing out of our Magothy River location, but we will move back south to Deale, MD within a month.

Dog Days of Summer

The Maryland Striped Bass Season is back in and will remain so until December 10th. Some Bluefish are showing up as well, and Spanish Mackerel are on the way. Bottom-fishing for White Perch and Catfish has also been yielding good catches. Weekdays are the best bet since weekend crowds are insane. We offer morning and afternoon trips. We are still running out of our Pasadena marina located on the beautiful Magothy River. We can take a maximum of 6 customers, but less is fine.

Summer is almost over and Last Hurrah Charters still has some prime dates up for August and September. Our official spokespup, “Shelby”, wants to remind everyone that dogs are always welcome on the Hurrah!! We keep a water bowl and treats at the ready. Shelby doesn’t usually come on charter trips so don’t worry if your dog doesn’t play well with others.

August Fishing Dates

The Maryland Striped Bass Season re-opens on Monday, August 1st and runs until December 10th. There are plenty of Perch, Spot and Catfish around also. Bluefish are starting to make their way north. Spanish Mackerel have also made an appearance down the Bay, although they aren’t quite close enough for us yet.

Last Hurrah Charter Fishing still has some prime-time August dates available. We run 5:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:00–6:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Mon.-Thurs. is by far the best bet as weekend crowds have been enormous and even more disrespectful and discourteous than usual.
We can take a max of 6 customers. Families and dogs are welcomed and encouraged to come. Email us today to get your trip on the books before summer is over!

The Last Hurrah

Open September Dates

­We are currently still fishing out of Annapolis.  We’re catching limits of Rockfish on light tackle just about every trip with some big catfish and Perch afterwards.  We have open September and October dates.
