The Season Starts: May 1st. “Trophy Season” runs until May 15th and then the Rockfish limit doubles and the min. size becomes 19″.
We run two trips a day, seven days a week. Mornings depart no later than 5:30, afternoons between noon and 1:00. Weekends are the worst days to go—boat traffic and fishing pressure are ridiculous! Monday through Thursday is best. We will be running out of Deale during May and out of Annapolis June through August.

The Season Starts May 1st this year. Trophy Rockfish Season runs until May 15th, and then the regular Rockfish Season runs from May 16th —Dec. 10th. We fish twice a day, seven days a week, but I strongly recommend going mid-week. Weekends are a crowded circus out there which spooks fish and makes catching tougher. Ironically, I have several Tuesdays open which are prime! We will be departing from Herrington Harbour North in Tracy’s Landing all of May. We can take a max of 6 customers, but less is fine too. We provide all licenses, rods, reels, tackle and fish-fileting.

The MD season kicks off: May 1st. The legal limit during the “Trophy Season” is one rockfish (striped bass) per customer, 35 inches +. Starting on May 16th, the limit is two Rockfish per customer with a 19″ minimum.
We offer two trips a day, seven days a week. The morning trip departs at 5:30 a.m., and the afternoon at noon or 1:00. We can take a maximum of 6 customers. We supply all licenses, rods, gear and fish-fileting.

The Fishing is starting to get RED HOT!! Hooking 5 to 20 fish simultaneously is becoming commonplace. Ironically, our schedule is full of open dates. The season ends on December 10th, and from now until then can be the best fishing of the year! The boat is enclosed and heated and it doesn’t even get “cold” in Maryland anymore, so don’t use that as an excuse. It’s only gonna’ get better and we’ll fish every day right up until December 10th when the season closes. It’s not uncommon to hook 5 to 10 fish at once when they start biting. The boat is enclosed and heated. We can take up to 6 customers.
