Few May Dates Left

Season starts May 1st.   First two weeks is “Trophy Rockfish Season” and the best chance for a migratory jumbo.  From May 16th on, the resident Rockfish are in play and the actions increases.  We have a few weekdays open in May and plenty of June availability.  We fish two trips a day, seven days a week.  We strongly recommend booking a weekday as enormous weekend crowds spook fish.  We can take a max of 6 customers.  All licenses, rods, gear, tackle and fish-fileting are included.

Only 10 Day of Season Left & The Bite is On FIRE!

It’s all over December 10th, and we still have some prime days open for Fall Chesapeake Bay Rockfishing.  The bite is right and when you hit ’em, all rods go down.  There’s still time for one “Last Hurrah”,  so give us a call and let’s go catching!

May 1st Season Start—Booking Up Quickly

Shortened Season means less available dates, so don’t procrastinate!   Last Hurrah Charters is filling the calendar quickly.  We offer two trips a day, seven days a week.  Morning trips depart:  5:30 a.m., afternoons:  noon or 1:00.  We will start fishing out of Tracy’s Landing (Deale) Maryland and then move to Annapolis if the fish push north.

We provide all licenses, rods, reels, tackle, and ice for the fish while we’re out on the water.  We can take a max of 6 customers but less is fine.  One group hires the whole boat for private charter.

OPEN DATES WEEK OF THANKSGIVING

The Maryland Fishing Season runs until December 15th and the bite is ON!   There’s some great fishing to be had and the boat is fully enclosed and heated.  Now is one of the best times to enjoy the Chesapeake Bay.  We have trips open all of Thanksgiving Week.  Take some relatives out on the Bay for a Striped Bass fishing trip they will always remember!

Less than 2 Months of Season Left—Book Now!

Fishing is getting better by the day and we have have open trips starting as early as this weekend!  The season runs for another month and a half, and next year’s season-length will likely be cut substantially.  Book your Fall fishing trip on the Chesapeake Bay now while you can!  We will run everyday possible until the December 15th closure.  The boat is enclosed and heated.  This last stretch is my favorite time to fish.  Let’s book ’em up!

Back in Deale, Bookin’ Trips and Rippin’ Lips!

The Last Hurrah is back in her usual berth at Herrington Harbour North Marina in Tracy’s Landing (Deale, MD).  The weather is cooling down but the fishing is still HOT.  We run every day that we can book until December 15th, so book your FALL FISHING TRIP on the Chesapeake with us today!  Let’s go catchin’!

Last Hurrah for Summer Light Tackle

Summer is running out and the live bait won’t be here for much longer.  Book your Chesapeake Bay light-tackle trip aboard The Last Hurrah today, and get in on some fast and furious live-lining action!  We will be moving the boat back down to Tracy’s Landing (Deale) soon.

Book Your Light-Tackle, Live-Lining Trip Before the Bait Leaves!!

Fishing remains excellent with the afternoon bite being better than the mornings lately.  The live bait will likely be exited the Bay within the next few weeks, so don’t procrastinate on booking your live-lining trip.  Catching Rockfish limits on light, spinning rods is a blast!  Weekdays are always better because the crowds are smaller.  We are still fishing out of our Annapolis marina slip, but we will be moving back down to Tracy’s Landing (Deale) soon.  Book your trip today!

7 Minute Bass

The light-tackle fishing for striped bass is off of the chain right now.  10 in 7 minutes this morning and a 150  White Perch afterwards.  Weekday trips are the best as there are far too many clueless people with boats on the Bay, and they make our job infinitely  more difficult.

We are still fishing out of Annapolis.  We offer two trips a day, seven days a week and we can take up to 6 customers.

Open July Morning Trips:  7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31.

Let’s Go Catchin’!!

Summer Rockfish Bite is On!

Trolling for Rockfish (striped bass) is good right now.  We’ve caught limits on almost every trip since 5/16.  Volatile weather has given the fish lockjaw a few times but when they do bite, it is game-on!  It’s not uncommon to hook 8 or 10 at once.  Weekends are the worst as huge, ignorant crowds make the fishing much tougher. We have prime June and July weekdays available.  Email or call us today to book your summertime fishing trip on the Chesapeake Bay!
