The MD Season goes until December 10th and this “last hurrah” can be the best fishing of the year!

November: 4, 8, 9, 10, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27
December: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

The season runs until December 10th and now is the time to go!!! November is my favorite month of Rockfishing. Fishing can be stellar when weekend crowds aren’t spooking the fish and ruining the bite. Here are our last open dates for the year:
October: 28
November: 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.
December: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
A little cold front has unleashed the fish and it’s been game-on out there the last few days. From now until December 10th is the best time of the year to go fishing. Ironically, the calendar is way too open! Fish are schooling up and biting like crazy. This is the time of year when hooking 10 to 20 fish simultaneously is fairly commonplace. We can take a max of 6 customers, but less is fine. One group hires boat for private charter. Let’s go catching! (Boat is enclosed, heated and comfortable).

It’s finally starting to act like Fall out there, and the fish are getting feisty! We’ve had some recent trips with 5 to 15 nice Rockfish hooked up simultaneously. Let’s book up November and December. Our last open October dates are: 20, 21, 25, 26, 28.

The weather is perfect and the fishing is heating up nicely. The Rockfish bite should only get bet better as we transition into the Fall pattern. We catch Rockfish (a.k.a. striped bass) consistently all the way until the season ends on: December 10th. Don’t sweat the weather—it doesn’t even get really cold anymore, and the boat is enclosed and heated. There are even a few Red Drum still around, but they won’t stay long.
