Summer Rockfishing on the Chesapeake
The weather is getting nice and the fishing couldn’t be any better. Large schools of fat, resident Rockfish are feeding aggressively and providing fast and furious action for anglers. We have been catching our limit of fish up to 34 inches quickly each trip and releasing 10-20 more while bringing in the rig. Weekdays are much better fishing since the weekends find the Bay packed with ignorant crowds. Last Hurrah Charters still has prime June dates available but they are going quickly.
