Resident Rockfish Roundup

The 2016 Trophy Rockfish Season was an interesting one.  Strange weather patterns, an abnormal migration and excessive boating and tug traffic all presented challenges.  Despite the fog, fronts and frustration, Last Hurrah Charters caught a lot of trophy fish and boxed quite a few limits.  Starting tomorrow, (Monday, May 16th), the creel limit doubles and the rockfish only need to be 20-inches.  These resident, non-spawning stripers travel in schools and the action can be fast-n-furious with frequent hook-ups of 5-20 fish simultaneously.  The next few months are booking up so don’t delay in making your reservation for some mid Bay striped bass fun!
