Weekly Report: 5/10-5/16

The last few days of the trophy season were tough as most of the migratory fish exited the Bay.  The size and creel limits changed on Sunday.  We made a brief run south and found the resident fish after some searching.

Weekly Report: 5/3-5/9

Heavy winds and not-so-easy-fishing were the story this week.  Some folks even cancelled.  A lot of the biting fish were short-striking to make matters worse.  We fished through the challenges though and came close to limiting-out each trip.  The highlight of the week was an afternoon trip with the guys from Builder Guru hosted by Ben Harries and Todd Haynie.  These guys always catch fish and are fun to be around.  Can’t wait for their next trip!

Weekly Report: 4/26-5/2

The weather cooperated most of the week but the fish were a bit scattered.  The bite wasn’t exactly red-hot, but we managed to catch a limit of nice rockfish every trip.  We found some fish hanging out in some unusual spots which was a difference-maker.  I had some old friends on the boat this week and made some friends too.  It was a lot of fun!  Some highlight pics are below.

Weekly Report: Opening Week 2010

We started off the season with Adam Funk and a great group of guys.  The seas were a little sloppy but the bite was hot.  Despite the bumpy weather, we  caught early limits during opening weekend.  The Hurrah fished every day the rest of the week and the fishing was good for the most part with some days being better than others.  I’ve attached a few photos from the week.
