Weekly Report: 11/29-12/5

Thirty-five knot winds cost us a few trips this week.  The fish weren’t exactly “easy” when made it out, but we managed to connect with some nice ones.   On Thursday, we had a great group—Kent Pagoota and Julie O’Connor of Atlantic Risk Management Corp. hosted Mike Shekletski and his crew from MainScapes, Inc.  These folks know how to have fun!  They caught some nice fish in the 40-inch class…as well as a trophy tree branch!  (click on photos to enlarge)

Weekly Report: 11/22-11/28

The rockfish have been keeping us honest this week with frequent moves and brief periods of surface actvity.  Overall, the fishing has been good with limit-catches most days.  The larger, migratory fish are starting to finally show up in decent numbers too.

Only 15-days left in the 2010 Season!  Book now!

Weekly Report: 11/15-11/21

The fish were a bit more scattered this week, but we found ’em.   Today, we caught our limit in slightly deeper water.  We trolled and jigged rockfish up to 27-inches.   We had some kids onboard, and the light-tackle fishing was just plain fun!

A few big migratory fish were landed throughout the Bay as well.   There are still December dates available!

Weekly Report: 11/8-11/14

We all had a few slow days towards the end of the week, but Tuesday was terric and conditions got back on track again yesterday!  Most of my crew partied too much and missed the boat on Sunday morning.   (Lame).   It was okay though, because my girlfriend, good gal-friend from NY were on time and ready to fish!  These ladies brought gorgoeus weather and they kicked butt!  We were hooked up with 5 fish at once about 30-seconds after dropping lines in the water.  The girls were cranking in fish two at a time.  We ended our morning with a fat rockfish that was just under 20-pounds.   Way to go, ladies!

Weekly Report: 11/1-11/7

The Fishing couldn’t have been any better this week!  Fished 6days this week and caught a limit of nice Rockfish on every trip.  Most days, the action was fast and furious!  On Friday, we caught our 13 Rockfish-limit  in less than 20 minutes!  The size has been averaging 19-25 inches, but with several 30-35 inchers mixed in as well.   (See Photos)

Weekly Report: 10/25-10/31

Sorry for the delay—been fishing almost every day.  The bite is WIDE OPEN.  We’ve been catching limits of Rockfish on every trip in a fast and furious fashion!  Had the boys from BGC out on Saturday and limited out on Rockfish up to 33-inches in a matter of minutes.   It’s getting better every day.  Call now to reserve a date!

Weekly Report: 10/18/-10/24

Fishing was a bit hit-or-miss during mid-week, but the bite turned red-hot over the weekend.  Most boats put a smack-down on the schoolie Rockfish Saturday.   The recent cold-fronts have made the Spot scarce so most boats trolled.  Hooking up 4 or 5 fish at time was common.  Things are heating up nicely—-now’s the time to book!

Weekly Report: 10/11-10/17

The water temps are cooling down and the fishing is heating up!  Quality Rockfish were caught this week live-lining, trolling and jigging.  I even caught several on top-water plugs.  The bluefish are big and hungry as well!  Now is a great time of year to spend a day fishing on the Chesapeake.
