22 Days left in the Maryland Striped Bass Season

The 2016 Maryland Striped Bass Season has been a phenomenal one so far….but it’s not over yet!   There are 22 days left and the fishing is outstanding.  When the fish start feeding, hooking 8-15 at once is common.  Last Hurrah Charter Fishing LLC has open December dates.   Contact us today to reserve your last hurrah on the Chesapeake Bay and take advantage of prime-time striper fishing.

One Month of Season Left

Striper fishing in the mid Chesapeake Bay continues to be excellent.  When the fish bite each day, the action is faster than anglers can handle.  Feeding schools of fish often take the whole trolling rig down at once.  The season goes until December 20th.  Captain Scott will be guiding Canada Goose hunts again this year for Sean Mann Outdoors.  Shoot us an email for more information.

Time for one last hurrah on the Chesapeake

Fall fishing is in full swing right now and the bite couldn’t be any better.  When the fish actually decide to bite each day has been very unpredictable. Once they do decide to feed though, you better be ready.  Most trips, the fish box goes from zero to limit in about 20 minutes.  Hooking 3-12 quality rockfish at once is commonplace lately.  The MD season runs until December 20th and we still have some dates available.  The boat cabin is enclosed and heated so don’t be a wuss—come out and have one last hurrah aboard The Last Hurrah and enjoy some stellar Chesapeake Bay Fall fishing.

School is in Session

Rockfish are schooled up and feeding aggressively.  The bite has been a little inconsistent, but when the fish turn on each day, the action is fast.   The fish are scattered throughout the water column and moving around quite a bit.  Trolling the right lures and covering water has been the key to success.  Last Hurrah Charters still has some open dates between now and December 20th when the season closes.  Let’s  take a Fall fishing trip on the Chesapeake together!  Contact us today to book your trip.
