Trolling for Striped Bass in the mid Chesapeake Bay continues to be off the charts. Due to a scheduling error, this Saturday, Nov. 26th is now available for charter.

Striper fishing in the mid Chesapeake Bay continues to be excellent. When the fish bite each day, the action is faster than anglers can handle. Fall fishing is in full swing right now and the bite couldn’t be any better. When the fish actually decide to bite each day has been very unpredictable. Once they do decide to feed though, you better be ready. Most trips, the fish box goes from zero to limit in about 20 minutes. Hooking 3-12 quality rockfish at once is commonplace lately. The MD season runs until December 20th and we still have some dates available. The boat cabin is enclosed and heated so don’t be a wuss—come out and have one last hurrah aboard The Last Hurrah and enjoy some stellar Chesapeake Bay Fall fishing.
Rockfish are schooled up and feeding aggressively. The bite has been a little inconsistent, but when the fish turn on each day, the action is fast. The fish are scattered throughout the water column and moving around quite a bit. Trolling the right lures and covering water has been the key to success.
